“A deeply troubled small-town cop investigates a suspicious hunting death while other events jeopardize his sanity.” This is a tough watch, but I’ve thought about it a ton afterward. Nick Nolte and James Coburn give performances that stick with you, but man this the bleakest thing I’ve seen in a while.
