“A listless Wade Wilson toils away in civilian life with his days as the morally flexible mercenary, Deadpool, behind him. But when his homeworld faces an existential threat, Wade must reluctantly suit-up again with an even more reluctant Wolverine.” I’m not gonna pretend like this movie has the greatest plot, complex villain, or even real stakes. But it is almost nonstop jokes, and some of the most fun I’ve had at a movie in a while. It’s also a love letter to all the 20th Century Fox superheroes and how they were the beginning of it all. If you’re interested at all, you should go see it so it doesn’t get spoiled for you.
