AVATAR: FIRE AND ASH
“Jake and Neytiri’s family grapples with grief after Neteyam’s death, encountering a new, aggressive Na’vi tribe, the Ash People, who are led by the fiery Varang, as the conflict on Pandora escalates and a new moral focus emerges.” Just like the others, this looks great, but being released so close to The Way of Water, the visuals aren’t really improved upon. The first hour is the best, and has a ton of action, the best sequence in the movie,and one of my favorites of the franchise. I was really bored with the second hour, and if you need to get up and stretch your legs, that’s the time. The opposing tribe in the movie is the most interesting thing about this movie, and they aren’t explored nearly enough. This didn’t need to be over 3 hours, I’m still not interested in the story, and I’m over this series.
