Not gonna lie, didn’t really dig this at all. Think Austin Butler does a decent job and looks the part, but I think Tom Hanks is legitimately not good and miscast. Plus the Baz Luhrmann of it all, contemporary music in the past and weird filmmaking choices that make this more annoying than it needs to be. I’ve also read that it’s not completely factually accurate which was the part of the story I was most interested in. HBO Max.
