THE PERFECT STORM
Based on the true story of the Andrea Gail, a commercial fishing vessel lost at sea, along with its crew in 1991. There are some scenes that are absolutely ridiculous, but overall this is perfectly serviceable, summer blockbuster. Performance wise, Diane Lane and John Hawkes are out of their minds, Marky Mark nails it, and Clooney is good, but forgets his accent part way through.
