IN A VIOLENT NATURE
“When a locket is removed from a collapsed fire tower in the woods that entombs the rotting corpse of Johnny, a vengeful spirit spurred on by a horrific 60-year old crime, his body is resurrected and becomes hellbent on retrieving it.” I read a quote that said this is basically a Friday the 13th movie shot by Terence Malick, and that is pretty spot on. Just over 90 minutes, and definitely moves at a leisurely pace, but I enjoyed the hell out of this. Extremely violent kills, including one at the edge of a cliff that made me stand up. Should premiere on Shudder in about a month.
