“The troubled life and career of jazz musician Charlie Parker.” Pleasantly surprised by this. Thought it could have been a 2 and a half hour slog, but Forrest Whitaker is genuinely great and makes this worth watching. When I think of Jazz, I don’t think Clint Eastwood, but he handles this material surprisingly well. One of the underrated and under seen Clint directing works. Rented on Prime.
