“Karsh, an innovative businessman and grieving widower, builds a device to connect with the dead inside a burial shroud.” I’m a giant Cronenberg fan, but since he’s made his comeback, I’ve been very mixed. I can appreciate that’s he’s getting older, and his themes are grief and death, but these don’t get there for me. All his movies are weird, this is no different, but it’s almost not weird enough.
