BLUE THUNDER (1983)
“The cop test pilot for an experimental police helicopter learns the sinister implications of the new vehicle.” This is an above average, maybe even great 80’s thriller. There were rumors last year that Christopher Nolan’s next film before he announced “The Odyssey,” was inspired by this and had to do with government surveillance. I kinda spend the entire runtime wishing this was that, but I enjoyed this plenty. Rented on Prime.
