Down on her luck, Maddie answers an ad placed by two parents who want someone to date their son, to get him out of his shell before he leaves for college in the fall. Feels like a throwback comedy they don’t make anymore while feeling genuine and having a lot of heart. I had never seen Andrew Barth Feldman anywhere but he was fantastic, and Jennifer Lawrence is out of her mind. There’s one specific scene that’s worth the price of admission.
