“The early life of musician Michael Jackson, from the discovery of his talent as the lead of the Jackson Five to the artist whose creative ambition fueled a pursuit to become the biggest entertainer in the world.” This isn’t a great biopic, and because of a lawsuit, this ends in 1988 and doesn’t deal with any of the allegations made against him. That said, Jaafar Jackson does an amazing job as Michael, and absolutely crushes the musical set pieces. Colman Domingo is also legit scary as Joe Jackson. If you’re a fan, def worth checking out. On Peacock in the near future.
