“The story of the famous and influential 1960s rock band The Doors and its lead singer and composer, Jim Morrison, from his days as a UCLA film student in Los Angeles, to his untimely death in Paris, France at age 27 in 1971.” I don’t feel one way or the other on the band, don’t love or hate ‘em. Lots of drug fueled nonsense here but Val Kilmer is amazing. Looks and sounds like Jim Morrison and actually sings the songs. Apparently the remaining band members couldn’t tell the difference between Val and Jim Morrison sung songs at the end of filming, so worth watching for that alone. Watched on Prime.
