DEAD CALM (1989)
“After a tragedy, John Ingram and his wife Rae are spending some time isolated at sea, when they come across a stranger who has abandoned a sinking ship.” Just a terrific thriller. A 3 person cast, basically 1 location, combined with this era of film, just great. RIP to the great Sam Neil. Billy Zane plays the perfect villain who you don’t trust immediately, and this is a super early Nicole Kidman role, and she actually gets to be Australian for once! On Tubi.
