RINGU
The original Japanese version of “The Ring.” A little slow, but effective. There is some genuinely creepy stuff here, but I think it would have hit much harder if I had seen this when it was released in 1998. I could totally see how this could be put up with legendary horror movies like Blair Witch.
Shudder.
