“Naval captain Rock Torrey is relieved of command after his ship is damaged due to a Japanese submarine, following the attack on Pearl Harbor. Promoted to rear admiral later on, he gets a second chance to prove himself against the Japanese.” I enjoyed this for the most part, but it’s almost 3 hours and is actually paced like it’s a show. John Wayne and Kirk Douglas fit the parts, and there’s some really cool Naval battles, probably with real footage inserted. Rented on Prime.
