FRANKENSTEIN
“Dr. Victor Frankenstein, a brilliant but egotistical scientist, brings a creature to life in a monstrous experiment that ultimately leads to the undoing of both the creator and his tragic creation.” There’s a lot to like here, then there’s some choices made that make me lose my mind. The Monster has Captain America strength? Um….ok. The monster is too humanized. The entire scene with the wolves. Half the CGI looks great, the other half looks like something on Netflix. I think the cast largely does a great job, especially Jacob Elordi as the monster. This isn’t horrible, it’s just frustrating because it should be great.
