“Bela, an 8-year-old girl living in a home with marital problems, confronts a sinister entity which comes out of her closet. The presence, whom she calls “Other Mommy,” becomes increasingly threatening to her and her family.” Not the best horror movie of the year, but far better than the hate this seems to be getting online. Plot wise kinda confusing, but Jessica Chastain and Arabella Olivia Clark really crush, and it’s a complete fail without them. Cool visuals and while they could have gone farther with the R rating, there’s a PG-13 version of this that’s completely sauceless.
