“A group of shoplifters take aim at a cutthroat fashion maven by stealing her clothes and reselling them at a lower price, what they call “fashion-forward philanthropy.” Possibly the most colorful movie I’ve ever seen, and very funny at times, but it almost feels too surreal to get its political points across? Loved Boots Riley’s previous film, Sorry to Bother You, not sure this one quite gets there for me, but I was entertained. On Hulu in the near future.
