SINNERS
“Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back.” This is a period piece, horror/thriller, and musical all in one, but it all works. Enjoyed this quite a bit, even if I have some nitpicks in the final act, that you can basically attribute to movie bullshit. That aside, one of the better movie trips this year. It’s not over once the credits start.
