HARD BOILED (1992)

“A tough-as-nails cop teams up with an undercover agent to shut down a sinister mobster and his crew.” This is a banger. I can’t say it does anything extraordinary plot or story wise, but this is an all time action movie. The amount of bullets fired, people shot, things blown up, has to be in the top 1%. You can watch it on YouTube.

BATTLE OF THE BULGE (1965)

“A dramatization of Nazi Germany’s final Western Front counterattack of World War II.” Not my favorite WW2 film, but that’s mainly because of the length. Lots of cool tank battles, and Robert Shaw is great, but there are times where it drags. I think there’s an excellent 2hr movie in here. On Tubi.

GOOD LUCK, HAVE FUN, DON’T DIE

“A “Man From the Future” arrives at a diner in Los Angeles where he must recruit the precise combination of disgruntled patrons to join him on a one-night quest to save the world from the terminal threat of a rogue artificial intelligence.”I didn’t love this at first, but it pulled me in around the half way, and deserves another watch. Sam Rockwell is great, along with the rest of the ensemble. It’s also funny that day by day, movies like this get less and less crazy with what’s going on in the world.

BALLS UP

“Two marketers pitch a bold new condom World Cup sponsorship. After a booze-fueled scandal, they must outrun chaos to survive.” This was just ok. I actually think Mark Wahlberg and Paul Walter Hauser are a good duo, and there’s some funny parts for sure, but this is no Ricky Stanicky. On Prime.
