“Two children wake up in the middle of the night to find their father is missing, and all the windows and doors in their home have vanished.” This sounds cool, and I could not have been more frustrated. Sometimes in horror, less is more, but they give you so little that I was begging for something to happen. It’s shot in super grainy Night vision and you have to strain your eyes, and at the same time it’s super quiet. There were 2 things that were kinda terrifying, and one of them is the final frame. Very much in the vein of Blair Witch or Paranormal Activity with how experimental it is. Kinda hated this. Shudder.
Two unpopular high school teens start a fight club to have sex before graduation. Really funny. Great cast, especially the leads, Rachel Sennott and Ayo Edebiri. Silly and over the top, in the best way.
After spending some time in a mental institution, a girl returns home to her family and strange things start to happen. Starts a little slow but slowly pulled me in. One those movies that feels like repeated viewings make it even better. Watched on AMC+
