“Robert Ford, who has idolized Jesse James since childhood, tries hard to join the resurgent gang of the Missouri outlaw, but gradually becomes resentful of the bandit leader.” The slowest of slow burns and definitely not gonna be for everyone, but I loved this. One of those movies that legitimately transports you to the place and time. Everyone involved hits their marks and I’m actually surprised this isn’t talked about more. Rented on Prime.
