A vacationing couple and their daughter are taken hostage by 4 armed strangers, who demand they make an impossible decision to stop the apocalypse. Simultaneously riveting and frustrating. Didn’t realize this was based on a book until afterward, but it has a better ending than the movie had. The whole religious element is also kinda dumb. All that said, this is one of Dave Bautista’s best roles.
