A remake of “Ikiru” from 1952, about a man trying to find the meaning of his life after finding out he has terminal cancer. At first I thought this was a pointless remake, but it really does work in its own way and Bill Nighy does a great a job and deserves his Oscar nomination. Honestly a timeless story and works just as good as the original.
