“An executive of a Yokohama shoe company becomes a victim of extortion when his chauffeur's son is kidnapped by mistake and held for ransom.” Absolutely amazing movie and my favorite Kurosawa (so far). Riveting story that completely holds up. The train sequence feels very Hitchcock. HBO Max.
