“Harper’s a big-city PI, who travels to Louisiana to help an old girlfriend who’s worried her husband will find out she’s been cheating on him.” I’d heard this was a good companion piece to “Night Moves,” and while it’s not as good, it’s still a solid mystery thriller. Paul Newman always shows why he was one of the great movie stars. It’s also funny how this is third Melanie Griffith movie I’ve seen in a row and didn’t even mean to. Rented on Prime.
