MANIAC (1980)
Follows a psychopath as he goes on a killing spree in New York City. This just feels grimy and fucked up. The type of movie you need a shower after you see it. The killer, played Joe Spinell, looks kind like Sal Vulcano. Apparently this was remade in 2012 with Elijah Wood. Prime Video.
