THE DAY OF THE JACKAL (1973)
“In the aftermath of France allowing Algeria’s independence, a group of resentful military veterans hire a professional assassin codenamed “Jackal” to kill President Charles de Gaulle.” So I enjoyed this overall, but I watched the more modern Peacock show first, which is much faster paced and majorly tweaks the plot. This one is much slower and more methodical, and basically feels like a different movie. Still, sign me up for any and all assassin movies.
