ALI G INDAHOUSE (2002)
“Ali G unwittingly becomes a pawn in the Chancellor’s plot to overthrow the Prime Minister of Great Britain. However, Ali is embraced by the nation as a voice of the youth, making the PM and his government more popular than ever.” I love most of what Sacha Baron Cohen does, but this just didn’t hit for me. I think overall it’s his weakest character. Still some funny bits, but my favorite thing was that this just didn’t seem like something Martin Freeman would be involved with at all, so that made me laugh. Rented on Prime.
