While struggling with his dual identity, Arthur not only stumbles upon true love, but also finds the music that’s always been inside him.” Don’t go into this expecting more of what you liked from the first one. It’s actually kinda shocking how boring this was. Everytime they started singing I wanted it to just stop. It’s like the movie was punishing you for watching it. It’s not the worst thing I’ve ever seen, Joaquin and Lady Gaga are good, but the movie just really doesn’t go anywhere or do anything really interesting. It’s basically just a courtroom drama with singing and that’s not what I was expecting. You feel every minute of that two hour and twenty minute run time.
