“Elphaba, a misunderstood young woman because of her green skin, and Glinda, a popular girl, become friends at Shiz University in the Land of Oz. After an encounter with the Wonderful Wizard of Oz, their friendship reaches a crossroads.” I’m glad movies like this exist. A cast full of talented people, cool sets, and effects. But…this really didn’t do it for me. Didn’t really care for the songs, and honestly, defying gravity was kind of a letdown, but maybe it was built up way too much. I normally would skip this kinda thing, but it’s going to be nominated for best picture and I try to see everything. My feelings aside, I’m glad a lot of people like this and are going to see it multiple times.
