“When a visionary architect and his wife flee post-war Europe in 1947 to rebuild their legacy and witness the birth of modern United States, their lives are changed forever by a mysterious, wealthy client.” One of the front runners for best picture this year, and it’s absolutely deserved. Haven’t stopped thinking about it since I left the theater. 3 hours and 35 minutes, with an intermission, which is long, but super engaging all the way through. The best comparison I can make, even if they are very different, is “There Will Be Blood.”
