“The kindly story-teller Uncle Remus tells a young boy stories about trickster Br’er Rabbit, who outwits Br’er Fox and slow-witted Br’er Bear.” First Disney musical that mixes animation with live action. This has the same problem as “Gone With The Wind,” and just completely bushes past the slavery element of the South, and it’s just fucking weird. The most famous thing about it, is that it’s the origin of the song “Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah.” Disney pulled this from sale along time ago, and I had to resort to illegal means to see it.
