“In 1950s Mexico City, an American immigrant in his late forties leads a solitary life amidst a small American community. However, the arrival of a young student stirs the man into finally establishing a meaningful connection with someone.” I don’t think I like this as much as Luca’s other movies, but it feels very personal. It’s crazy that Daniel Craig can go from playing Bond with almost no emotion, to be being this vulnerable. Possibly the most devastating final moments of anything I’ve seen in a while. Should be on MAX soon.
