“When teenage Priscilla Beaulieu meets Elvis Presley, the man who is already a meteoric rock-and-roll superstar becomes someone entirely unexpected in private moments: a thrilling crush, an ally in loneliness, a vulnerable best friend.” Interesting story but complicated in multiple ways, and it grew on me as it went. Great job by Cailee Spaeny, who’s actually 25 but 100% looks 15, which is how old she was when she met Elvis. Even if though this isn’t his story, I think Jacob Elordi plays a better Elvis than Austin Butler. I’m glad this was made after the 2022 Elvis, to give everyone another perspective.
