A man with a dark past works as a meticulous horticulturist for a wealthy widow. Other than being surprisingly similar to Paul Schrader’s last film, “The Card Counter,” I was pleasantly surprised with this. Joel Edgerton does a good job of playing this very low key. Not gonna be for everyone.
