“After a family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River. Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her teenage daughter, Astrid, accidentally opens the portal to the Afterlife.” A successful legacy sequel to one of the most popular movies of all time. This is a lot of fun. Definitely a little busy with a lot of juggling of storylines, but I think it does a really great job. It’s hilarious to me that Michael Keaton has essentially doubled his age in between these 2 movies, and he plays them almost identically. Definitely worth a theater trip.
