Remake of the 1930 Best Picture winner about an enthusiastic German youth who enters World War 1 and sees the true horrors of war. Excellent cinematography and extremely brutal. This is a solid remake, but the final scene is a little over dramatized and loses the effect of how perfect the original ending was. The message is still clear: War is bad. Netflix.
