The Washington Post did a piece this past week highlighting the Top 20 Art Museums in America. The Cleveland Museum of Art was ranked among the top 10, at number 7 on this list. It's good to see CMA getting additional recognition that it deserves. Those who have been here know how special it is to have such a world class museum in Cleveland. Those who have not been, the museum is a massive facility with brilliant architecture and art, sculptures, and artifacts spanning the entirety of human history - from marble statues and samurai armor to paintings by Monet and Picasso. The museum hosted over 700,000 visitors last year, so let this post serve as a reminder to make a day of it and head to the museum.
Also it's free if you live in Cleveland, so if you haven't went this year - there's no excuse.
